Jade and Miko, who oversee bookings for Soul Sanctuary, are here to make that process smooth and stress-free.

With well over a hundred engagements each year, they bring experience, care, and attention to every event. They will guide you through the options, answer your questions, and help ensure the music reflects the spirit of your occasion – because it’s often the music that people remember most.

Repertoire

Our song list (available on request) includes around 500 pop, rock, and soul classics, alongside selections of jazz and a rich body of gospel music. Over the years we have performed many more pieces and strongly believe that every event deserves its own special song. We are therefore always delighted to prepare new repertoire to make your occasion truly personal. For church weddings, we are also happy to include traditional hymns, with some of our keyboard players able to accompany on classical pipe organ where available.

Sound

Professional PA amplification for voices and instruments is almost always advisable, particularly for outdoor events; to preserve a warm, balanced sound at comfortable listening levels. Our basic package includes a simple and cost-effective PA system, and larger professional set-ups with sound technicians can be arranged when required.

Presentation

For us, presentation is almost as important as sound. We maintain a comprehensive dress code suitable for most occasions (available on request) and are always pleased to adopt a specific look or theme to complement the character of your event

Drama & Performance

Many events call for a moment of surprise or theatrical flair, and we are always delighted to create it. This may include choreography, unexpected entrances, or singers appearing from within the audience.

A frequent wedding favourite is “All You Need Is Love” from Love Actually, where singers gradually stand and join the performance as if they were guests. On another occasion, we led a joyful street procession through London singing God Only Knows by The Beach Boys. We love creating these memorable moments.

Corporate & Fundraising Events

Corporate events and charity fundraisers sometimes call for elegant background music, which we are always happy to provide. Just as often, however, the brief is a super-tight “knockout set.” Song choices, seamless transitions, sound, presentation, and choreography all come together through rigorous rehearsal, ensuring a performance that truly captures and lifts the room.

Transport

We take full responsibility for arranging the safest and most cost-effective transport for our performers and equipment, ensuring everyone arrives on time and fully prepared. We are always open to practical ways of keeping transport costs as efficient as possible.
