Soul Sanctuary featured on 'Gospel', the new album by Mica Paris

Mica Paris is one the greatest British soul singers, if not the greatest. And her talent goes well beyond singing: in 2020 alone, she could be seen as a cast member of Eastenders on BBC1, and presenting Gospel According To Mica on BBC4.

On December 4th she released her first gospel album, simply entitled 'Gospel', and Soul Sanctuary had the privilege and the joy of being the choir on that album.

The privilege is obvious - the joy flows from the music, a mix of classics and Mica originals, and from Mica herself, who is one of those rare charismatic-yet-generous singers with whom it’s always a inspiration to work.

Great band on the album too, featuring Jason Thompson (keys) and Howard Francis (Hammond). And an amazing experience to work with Grammy-winning Brian Rawling of Metrophonic (Cher, Tina Turner, etc.) and the team at Warner Music.
