For a limited period until 2nd December 2017, Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir are offering gospel singing workshops to anglican churches in the London and Southwark Dioceses at a special subsidised rate.

We will come to your church (an experienced workshop leader with a professional accompanist) and deliver a workshop (for 90 minutes) for £180.  We ask is that there is a minimum of 20 attendees and we can help you to promote the event to ensure that this number is achieved.  Places for those attending can be offered on a free or paid basis depending on your requirements.

Our gospel workshops are suitable for people from all musical backgrounds, whether you can read music or not, or you think you can sing or not! Gospel singing is spiritually uplifting, energising, and - above all - good fun.

Our workshops are aimed to fulfill our mission as a choir to "share the joy, power and soulful groove of contemporary gospel music".  They are part of a "toolkit" of resources to help churches, who wouldn't normally get the opportunity, to explore gospel music and possibly include it in their services or start their own gospel choirs.

Soul Sanctuary is committed to bringing this beautiful and transformational music to sacred and secular spaces where it isn't usually heard and we currently sing a service each month at a Roman Catholic church (Farm Street Church in Mayfair) and an Anglican church, (St James's, Piccadilly).

Find out more about why the choir was started, hear the choir at one of our central London church services or contact our 'toolkit' manager, Beverly Collins about this offer or about the possibility of exploring gospel music at your church.

This video tells you more about our 'toolkit' and how we are helping one church in the Southwark diocese.
